Welcome to my personal finance and adventure blog! I am so happy that you found your way to the site.
My name is Sarah. I started this blog fresh out of college. Since starting the blog, I’ve built an online business as a freelance writer, bought my first house at age 25, and started down the path to FI.
Along the way, I’ve still been able to throw adventures into the mix. From exploring my home state of Florida to poking around on the wrong side of the road in Scotland, I haven’t given up my love of seeing new places just to save money. Instead, I’ve looked for ways to make money plans that actually mesh with my long-term AND short-term goals.
As I venture forward into full-fledged adulthood, I’ve realized that good money skills are what have allowed me to travel. Just like every other adult, I have to spend money on normal things like shelter, food, family, emergencies, etc. However, I want to keep traveling, so I developed some effective money skills to make it possible. I want to share those skills with you!
You are the reason I started this blog. I want to help you master your money so that you can pursue the adventures that excite you without ever feeling guilty about spending that hard-earned money. I want to help you build the skills to manage your financial responsibilities effectively, while still having the means to travel wherever you want.
I honestly hope this blog helps you to achieve the lifestyle of your dreams!
Always feel free to reach out to me with any questions, stories or just general thoughts. I am always happy to hear from you! 🙂

That’s me on top of the world (or maybe just Mt. Washington) near the end of my ~first~ field job!
